1st Athens Mini Maker Faire

October 1, 2016

The first mini MakerFaire in Greece is a reality
(…and Athens Makerspace was there!)

Today was the first day of the International Maker’s Festival and it took place in the exhibition center of Peristeri. Both the quality of exhibitors along with the and number of visitors is proving that the maker’s movement has made a dynamic entrance in Athens.

With a variety of technologies presented, one can see projects from a robot opponent in air hockey, and products made from seaweed to children that operate 3D Printers and construct their own fighting bots!

Come visit us at our stand! We have prepared a number of projects to show-off, in order to help you visualize the available tools and techniques that you could learn and use at our makerspace. So, the space is set. The technology is ready. The community is growing. And inspiration is flowing infinite. What are we waiting for? Nothing! We are officially opening for subscriptions later on this month. Pre-subscribe now and get an early bird offer.
